Steensen Varming produced a definitive Lighting Master Plan, recognizing the distinct grandeur in the building’s profile and the interior of the sandstone building with its selections from national collections of relics, personal and public records, art and media.
The lighting master plan provides an essential reference for the development of detailed concepts and specifications for future external lighting works at the Australian War Memorial, and to ensure a holistic approach throughout the building and the surrounding Memorial Grounds.
