Steensen Varming’s Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) has been formally endorsed by Reconciliation Australia, marking the significant first step in our reconciliation journey. The RAP represents our commitment to social and environmental benefits and the overarching commitment to doing what is right, rather than what is easy.
The Reflect RAP provides a clear approach to guide meaningful action towards reconciliation. It supports and encourages our team to actively learn, listen, and engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, with a focus on building understanding, respect, and relationships. Through this approach, we aim to strengthen our business culture, inform our design work, and ensure it respects and cares for Country.
Our reconciliation journey is led by our RAP Working Group, consisting of employees at various levels and roles across Steensen Varming. We look forward to the positive impact our RAP will have on our people, our work, and the communities we engage with as we move forward.
