The Stage 2 redevelopment at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital delivered a new clicnical services building and expanded the hospital’s Emergency Department (ED). This stage delivered medical assessment unit, combined intensive care and high dependency unit, combined coronary care and cardiac investigations unit, inpatient units, new retail outlets and combined education space with the University of Sydney, and more.
Stage 2A includes new outpatient ambulatory care, a helipad, fitout of inpatient units, and refurbishments to physchiatric emergency care.
Steensen Varming provided building services across the project, including mechanical and electrical engineering, vertical transportation, and lighting design.
