The Wagga Wagga Hospital Redevelopment Stage 1&2 delivered enhanced hospital facilities to provide modern and integrated health services for the Riverina community.
Key elements included the new Acute Services Building, a new 50 bed mental health unit, new pathology unit, drug and alcohol services, relocated and improved mortuary, and upgrades to the main entrance and public amenities.
As part of Stage 3, a new six-storey Ambulatory Care Building will be linked to the Wagga Wagga Base Hospital with a range of new facilities including ambulatory clinics, aboriginal health, aged care impatient unit, allied health and community mental health.
