The Mental Health Recovery Unit at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital provides world-class care to the people of the New South Wales Riverina. Steensen Varming provided mechanical, electrical and lighting design to this project.
This project provided a unique opportunity for Steensen Varming to showcase the flexibility in its design approach, especially within the electrical and security requirements. Design considerations for the integration of the facility to the Main Hospital were required, which was also being refurbished.
