The Cumberland Cluster upgrades were aimed at the learning spaces to high-quality environments consistent with SINSW design guidelines. This included increasing the capacity and improved facilities for staff and students, repurposing and refurbishing blocks, improving traffic flows and site access, and maximising benefits and efficiencies through proactively driving and adopting principles of modern methods of construction.
Carlingford West Public School upgrade will deliver new flexible learning spaces, hall, library, tennis courts, canteen, and new and refurbished staff and administration areas.
Cumberland High School was designed with new flexible classrooms including specialist learning spaces such as wood workshops and visual arts studios, multipurpose hall, sport and performance spaces, library, multipurpose sports courts, canteen, and new and refurbished staff and administration facilities.
Steensen Varming are providing mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as lighting and ESD design for the two schools.
